Matthew Phenix has had a diverse and impressive career in the field of editorial and journalism. Matthew started off as a Copy Editor/Newsroom Assistant for The New York Times before moving on to become an Associate Editor for Automobile Magazine. During their time at Automobile Magazine, they wrote and edited various automotive articles and conducted road tests.

Phenix then joined Bonnier Corporation as the Editor in Chief for Caribbean Travel + Life Magazine, where they conceived and created the company's first digital-only magazine, Roadtrip Magazine. Matthew also served as the Editor in Chief for Florida Travel + Life Magazine and won the Publishing Executive Magazine's Innovator of the Year award in 2011.

After their time at Bonnier Corporation, Phenix worked at BBC Worldwide as the Editor in Chief for BBC Autos. Matthew built a vertical focused on automotive design, technology, and luxury lifestyle for the British Broadcasting Corporation's global website. BBC Autos earned a Webby People's Voice Award in its first year.

Matthew also had experience working at the Reader's Digest Association as the Editor in Chief for Reminisce and at Afar Media as the Consumer Travel News Editor.

Phenix's most recent role was as the Vice President of Editorial at Corcoran, a global real estate firm. Matthew was described as the voice of the brand and was responsible for creating and executing various editorial and advertising campaigns, as well as thought-leadership content, podcasts, and user experience.

Throughout their career, Phenix has written and edited for various online and print publications, including The Robb Report, Maxim, The New York Times, and Wired, covering travel, luxury lifestyle, cars, and technology topics. Matthew has made friends in over 30 countries and has a wealth of experience in the industry.

Matthew Phenix holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Theater from the University of Connecticut.
