Poonam Swift

Poonam Swift is an experienced professional in event coordination and community recreation, currently serving as the Community Recreation and Culture Coordinator for Corporate Festivals & Events at The Corporation of the Town of Ajax since October 2017. Prior to this role, Poonam worked as an Event Coordinator for the Town of Richmond Hill from March 2014 to August 2017 and held various positions including Officer for Run for the Cure at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and Game Day Supervisor at the Toronto Marlies. Poonam's earlier experience includes roles with the Sunnybrook Foundation, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mosaic Sales Solutions, and the Canadian Paralympic Committee. Poonam holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honours in Sociology and a Certificate in Sports Administration, both obtained from York University.
