Anibal Garcia Rojas

Anibal Garcia Rojas is an undergraduate student at UCLA pursuing a degree in Psychobiology from 2020 to 2024. Currently serving as a Tour Guide for UCLA Cub Tours, Anibal conducts campus tours for underrepresented students to inspire them toward higher education. As an Older Camper Program Advisor with UCLA UniCamp, Anibal mentors underserved children, focusing on their safety and leadership development. Anibal also holds the position of Lead Resident Assistant, training new Resident Assistants to foster an inclusive community. Additional roles include function as a Global Health Initiative Assistant Translator in underserved clinics in Mexico, providing academic tutoring to K-12 students in Los Angeles, and serving as a CPR Lead Instructor. Past volunteer experience includes roles at UCLA Health and a caseworker with the Mobile Clinic Project, while previously working at Target and as a Research Assistant in molecular biology at the HHMI Accelerated Research Program.
