Khara Ramos, Ph.D. has extensive experience in neuroscience and policy analysis. Khara currently serves as the Vice President of Neuroscience & Society at the Dana Foundation, overseeing strategy and programs. Previously, Khara held various roles at the National Institutes of Health, including Chief of Neuroscience Content and Strategy at the NINDS. Khara has a Ph.D. in Neurosciences from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University. Khara also conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Colorado at Boulder focusing on chronic pain states and opioid-induced inflammation in the central nervous system.
