Alex Craven

Alex Craven has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Since 1999, they served as the MD and Founder of Bloom Agency. In 2014, Alex founded Our Data Mutual and in 2015, they joined Leeds Enterprise Partnership as a Member of the Digital Working Group. They also served as a Steering Committee Member for Leeds Digital Festival from 2015 to 2018. Alex co-founded The Data City in 2018 and worked as a Co-Chair for Pool Foundation from 2021. They were an Investor for THE SIPPING SHED LIMITED starting in 2019 and a Strategic Advisor for Streamr from 2020 to 2021. Furthermore, Alex was a Non-trustee member of the Innovation Lab Committee at Nesta from 2016 to 2019 and the Founder of Jaywing Intelligence, the technology products division of Jaywing Plc, from 2016 to 2018.

Alex Craven attended the University of Liverpool from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Philosophy.
