Mekiya O.

Mekiya O. is an accomplished content editor and author with a strong background in editorial services, including developmental editing and proofreading, particularly for diverse writing projects. Currently serving as a content editor at The DateKeepers, Mekiya also co-founded the organization, focusing on social media, marketing, and strategic partnerships. Experience includes roles as a MacDowell Fellow, communications specialist for Fulbrighters with Disabilities, contributing writer for ABILITY Magazine, and special programs staffer at the Spring International Language Center. With a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Mekiya has taught undergraduate courses and provided extensive tutoring support to students across various levels.
