Joel Tompkins

Joel Tompkins has over 20 years of experience in civil engineering and project management, having worked in various roles at multiple companies. Their most recent role is as Senior Civil Engineer at The Dimension Group, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they were Principal at Sterling Design Associates, LLC for three years, and before that, they held the role of Project Manager at Engineering Service Company. Joel previously worked as Principal at Sterling Design Associates, LLC for two years and as Senior Civil Engineer at Galloway & Company, Inc. for eight years. Tompkins began their career as Senior Project Manager at CLC Associates, Inc. and worked there for a decade.

Joel Tompkins attended Texas Tech University from 1986 to 1989 and studied Civil Engineering, though they did not complete a degree. Joel then attended The University of Texas at Austin and received a BSCE in Civil Engineering, where they studied from 1986 to 1991.
