Karina Arias, LICSW has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Karina started their career as a Multicultural Admission Intern at Wheaton College Office of Admission in 2010. Karina also served as a Resident Advisor during their time at Wheaton College.

In 2012, Karina joined the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston as a Match Support Specialist, where they provided support and guidance to matches between adult mentors and children.

Karina then worked as a Graduate Assistant at Loyola University Chicago from 2014 to 2015.

At North Suffolk Mental Health Association, Karina served as a Teen Conexions Graduate Social Work Intern from 2015 to 2016.

From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Boston College in two different roles. Firstly, as a Graduate Assistant for the McNair Scholars Program at the Learning to Learn Office, where they assisted with program coordination and support for first-generation college students. Secondly, they worked as a College Transition Program Co-Coordinator, responsible for the training and supervision of Peer Advisors and the management of program activities aimed at acclimating incoming freshman students.

Karina's most recent work experience is at The Dimock Center, where they started as a Clinical Social Work Intern in 2016 and later became a Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinician in 2017. In this role, they provided individual therapy to pediatric and adult patients, performed intake assessments, engaged in behavioral health consultations, and provided case management support.

Karina Arias, LICSW, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Wheaton College Massachusetts from 2008 to 2012. Karina further pursued their education at Boston College, completing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree specializing in Clinical Social Work/Mental Health from 2015 to 2017.
