Mario Terra Neto

Mario Terra Neto is an experienced leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Zero Summit since January 2020, focusing on elevating climate change on the global agenda through collaboration and inspiration. In addition to this role, Mario has been an Official Nominator for The Earthshot Prize 2024 since January 2022, where responsibilities include identifying innovations in environmental sustainability. As a Co-Founder and Director of Fazenda Urbana, Mario has contributed to sustainable agricultural practices since May 2009. Recently, Mario engaged as a BNEF Academy Partner for the Programa Brasil in September and October 2023. Earlier in their career, Mario was a journalist and editor at Record TV from August 2007 to December 2010, handling internal projects and national communication. Educational credentials include a degree in Radialista e Jornalista from Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo and filmmaking and directing studies at the New York Film Academy.
