Gerald Turner is a seasoned professional in community, economic, and real estate development, holding multiple leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for The East Cut Community Benefit District and a Commissioner for the San Francisco Department of Public Works, Gerald has been instrumental in advancing urban development initiatives. With extensive experience managing over 3,000 housing units worth $850 million, Gerald has contributed to the Affordable Housing Clearinghouse and the National Alliance of Resident Services in Affordable & Assisted Housing as a board member. Previously, Gerald held prominent positions such as Founding CEO of West Ninth Spirit of Entrepreneurship & Community Development and Neighborhood Stabilization Program Director for the Los Angeles Housing Department. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The College of Wooster and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
