Art Whittemore has an extensive work experience in finance and administration. Art started their career as the Vice President for Finance and Administration at The American College in 1999, where they were responsible for various departments including Finance, M&A, Investments, HR, Printing/Publishing, and Facilities. After that, they worked as an Operations Controller at General Chemical Corp., overseeing financial processes and leading a team of Plant Controllers.

Later, Whittemore joined Gamesa in 2005 as the Chief Financial Officer for North America, where they were involved in driving revenue growth, improving cost efficiency, and managing financial operations. Art then transitioned to the role of Chief Financial Officer for the US Operations.

Continuing their career, Whittemore worked as the Chief Financial Officer at NW Sign Industries, a privately-held sign manufacturing company. Art focused on improving financial operations and cash flow by emphasizing working capital. Whittemore served as the CFO for the company until late 2015.

In 2015, Whittemore took on interim CFO roles at Paradigm Window Solutions, a $35 MM private equity portfolio company, Aker Philadelphia Shipyard, a $300 MM manufacturer of commercial oil tankers and container ships, and CenterStar Energy Services, a $20 MM installer of commercial scale solar energy systems. In these positions, they were responsible for financial integration, reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.

In 2016, Whittemore joined Eureka Resources, LLC as the Chief Financial Officer. Here, they were involved in financial reporting, analysis, and implementing cash flow projections to ensure liquidity.

Art Whittemore completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology at Hamilton College, from 1981 to 1985. Art then pursued further education at the University of Vermont, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Geology from 1985 to 1988. Following this, they attended Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business, where they completed a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MSIA) from 1990 to 1992.
