Maggie Bizzell Mpa, Msc

Maggie Bizzell, MPA, MSC, currently serves as Senior Communications Manager at the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina since February 2022. Previous roles include Communications Manager and Interim Communications Director at the North Carolina Department of Information Technology (September 2017 - February 2022), and Finance Staffer for Tricia Cotham for Congress (April 2016 - June 2016), where responsibilities included fundraising and digital communications. Experience also encompasses program coordination and social media management for Connect NC, a graduate research assistantship at East Carolina University, and various positions within the Office of the Governor of North Carolina, focusing on boards and commissions management and intergovernmental affairs. Bizzell holds a Master's degree in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Master's in Public Administration from East Carolina University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Meredith College.
