Gopal Hari Batra

Gopal Hari Batra is a seasoned accounting professional currently serving as Group Senior Accounting Manager at The Economist since July 2023. Previously, Gopal held various positions at G4S IT Services (India) Pvt Limited from April 2018 to July 2023, including Assistant General Manager and Senior Manager. At Whirlpool Asia LLP, Gopal was Senior Manager F&A Operations and Manager from September 2012 to March 2018. Gopal began a career at Genpact, progressing from Management Trainee to Manager between December 2006 and September 2012. Gopal holds a Professional Accountant degree in Finance and Accounting from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Zakir Husain College.
