Cari Borja

cari borja is currently a partner and curatorial board member at Clio's Bookstore and Bar, as well as a participant at the Food Lab at Google. They also hold positions as an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts and San Jose State University, in addition to being the Chief of Staff to Alice Waters at The Edible Schoolyard Project. borja is involved with multiple non-profit organizations, serving as a board member for Creative Growth Art Center, National Novel Writing Month, and SHE-CAN. They are also the author of the cari borja FashionFilmFood BLOG. borja holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology and Film from the University of California, Berkeley, among other degrees. Their work focuses on art, education, and empowering marginalized voices.
