Matthew Cooper

Matthew Cooper is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in pension advisory and governance. Currently serving as the Co-Head of Isio Covenant Solutions since April 2024, Matthew delivers expert insights for pension scheme sponsors and trustees. In addition, Matthew serves as Court Director at The Edinburgh Academy, ensuring the institution meets its educational objectives through effective governance. Matthew holds key positions within ICAS as the Chair of the Pensions Panel and a member of the Policy Leadership Board, advocating on critical issues related to public policy and pension regulation. Previously, Matthew led pension covenant and restructuring efforts at PwC, advising clients on employer covenant and restructuring strategies since 2006. Matthew is a CA graduate from ICAS and studied at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Cambridge.
