Vikki Smith

Vikki Smith is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within various organizations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Education and Standards at The Education and Training Foundation since February 2021, Vikki oversees the development and implementation of high-quality standards and policies in the further education, training, and skills sector. Prior to this role, Vikki worked at the British Medical Association as a Specialist Education Adviser, where strategic initiatives for educational offerings were developed. Vikki also held significant positions at Kaplan International HE, Oxford University Press, and City & Guilds, contributing to various aspects of educational program development and business strategy. Vikki holds a PhD in Post Compulsory Education and Training from The University of Huddersfield, earned between 1993 and 1997.
