Karen Lomax-Hart has over 20 years of experience in graphic design as an in-house designer, agency art director, and freelancer. Karen has worked for various companies and organizations, including LOMAXcreative, The Education Trust, American Geophysical Union, GDwins, MediaDC, ENC Strategy, Elizabeth Rose Consulting, LLC, Alpine Creative Group, Red Sky Blue Water, and Seattle Opera. In their roles, they have been responsible for tasks such as designing print collateral, creating website graphics, developing social media graphics, managing budgets and timelines, supervising staff, managing printing prepress, and leading target-marketing efforts. Karen also has experience collaborating with small and mid-sized businesses and nonprofits. Karen has received recognition for their work, including being the designer of record for the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of African American History and Culture.
Karen Lomax-Hart holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photo Illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
