Isabelle Hudon

Isabelle Hudon is an accomplished leader and advocate, currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of BDC since August 2021, marking the first time a woman has held this position. Under Isabelle's leadership, BDC focuses on supporting Canadian entrepreneurs in achieving sustainable and resilient growth. As a co-founder of L'effet A, Isabelle promotes women's ambition and empowerment through a values-driven movement. Previous roles include serving as Canada's Ambassador to France and Monaco, Executive Chair at Sun Life Financial Quebec, and Board Member for various organizations including the Canada Council for the Arts and Hydro Québec. Isabelle's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Law, an Honoris Causa from Concordia University, a certification from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés, and advanced studies in financial literacy and reconciliation history.
