Phil Thompson

Phil Thompson has over 16 years of experience in research and evaluation, currently serving as Head of Research and Evaluation at The Electoral Commission since April 2007. Previously held positions at The Electoral Commission include Head of Research and Party Registration, Research and Evaluation Manager, and Senior Evaluation Officer. Prior to this role, Phil Thompson worked as a Consultant at The Mackinnon Partnership, where responsibilities included public policy consultancy, evaluation, reviews, survey work, and data analysis from December 2002 to April 2007. Phil Thompson obtained a 2:1 degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford between 1998 and 2001.
