Madi Olivier serves as the Editor-in-Chief of The Emory Wheel, overseeing the News and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) sections while previously holding roles as Managing Editor, News Editor, Assistant News Editor, and Contributing Writer. Madi has also contributed to Emory University as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, focusing on bibliometric analysis of sex in biomedical research and research on NIH’s sex as a biological variable policy. Additionally, Madi works as a TrevorChat Volunteer Crisis Counselor for The Trevor Project, providing support on the LGBTQ+ crisis hotline. Educational background includes pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Emory University, with prior experience as a gymnastics camp coach.
