Joanna Evans

Joanna Evans is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in educational administration, support for the elderly, and quilt history. Currently serving as the First Lady at Peru State College and the Editor of "Uncoverings" for the American Quilt Study Group, Joanna also operates a freelance editing business, focusing on educational assessment and quilt history. With a background in project management and admissions roles at notable educational institutions including Southern New Hampshire University, the University of Southern Maine, and George Stevens Academy, Joanna has consistently demonstrated expertise in international engagement and student recruitment. Joanna holds a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Education from Smith College, complemented by a strong foundation in early education from Brooklyn Friends School and Friends Academy.
