Courtney Waring

Courtney Waring currently serves as the Director of Education at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, a position held since July 2013. Previously, Courtney held various educational leadership roles at the Delaware Art Museum from February 2003 to July 2013, including Director of Education, School Programs Manager, and Docent & Tour Programs Manager. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Education at the Barnes Foundation from 2000 to 2003 and as Youth Group Visits Coordinator at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston from 1999 to 2000. Courtney holds a Certification in Elementary Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, a MA in Art History from Penn State University, and a BA in Art History from Rosemont College.
