Thandie Mashego

Thandie Mashego has accumulated extensive work experience in finance and investment. Thandie currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Eskom Pension and Provident Fund. In addition, they hold the position of Non Executive Director at Kagiso Tiso Holdings (KTH) and is an Investment Committee Member at SummerPlace Equity Partners. Thandie has also held various roles at FirstRand group, WDB Investment Holdings, Vantage Capital Group, and the Industrial Development Corporation. Their roles have included Chief Financial Officer, Manager in Post Investment, Senior Transactor, Transactor, and Business Analyst, showcasing their diverse expertise in the field.

Thandie Mashego completed their Matric degree from S.J. van der Merwe THS in 1995. Thandie then pursued a Bcom degree in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they obtained in 1998. In 2000, Thandie completed their Bcom Honours degree, specializing in Accounting, from the same university. Thandie furthered their education by acquiring a CA (SA) degree in Accounting and Finance from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2003. Thandie went on to complete a Management Development Programme from The Da Vinci Institute in 2011. Lastly, they earned a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) degree from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2015.
