Burton Sue

Burton Sue has a diverse range of work experience. Recently, in 2019, they joined The Evangelical Alliance Mission | TEAM as a Creative Director in Japan, where they use their art, technology, and project management skills to help people struggling with stress and anxiety. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Sr. Project Manager at Engage Financial Technology, where they collaborated with coworkers to help clients in the Financial Services Industry create unique customer experiences. From 2014 to 2018, Burton Sue worked at The UPS Store as a Lead Sr. Business Systems Analyst Manager, leading the transition from Waterfall to Agile and promoting user-centered design thinking. In 2013, they were a Business Analyst Manager at Accumen, where they focused on improving processes in healthcare laboratories. In 2012, Burton Sue took a break from the corporate world and worked as a Heart and Smile Designer to help those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. Earlier experiences include various roles such as a Lead Sr. Business Systems Analyst at The UPS Store, a V.P. of Marketing at Aesthetics Inc., and a Product Manager at Combined Resources International, where they designed and managed innovative products. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at BF Consultants and Concord Technology, managing process improvements and software integration projects.

Burton Sue attended ArtCenter College of Design from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Illustration / Entertainment Design. Prior to that, they attended USC Marshall School of Business from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Information Systems. In addition to their degrees, Burton Sue also obtained a certification in PMI-PBA from the Project Management Institute in November 2015.
