During their time at Capital One, they served as Vice President, Regional Banking Manager and supervised 110 employees across 9 districts. Matthew's experience also includes Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager at First National Bank of Commerce and Branch Manager/Internal Auditor/Cashier/Security & Compliance Officer at Bank of Southwest Louisiana.

Matthew Martin received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from McNeese State University, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. In 1996 to 1998, Matthew attended the Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. Matthew also went to the Mid-South School of Banking in 1994. Matthew furthered their education by attending the Disney Institute of Leadership in 2004 and the Texas Banker's Association BSA/AML School from 2009 to 2014, specializing in Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering.
