Anthony Trias

Anthony Trias has had a successful career in the field of science. Anthony began their career in 2006 as an intern at UCSF, where they worked on an independent project and shadowed alongside Dr. Tonia Chaffee at San Francisco General Hospital in Pediatrics. Anthony then became a research assistant at UCSD Neurosciences Department in 2009, performing research pertaining to Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and Major Depression. In 2011, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego, and in 2012 they became a Research Associate at Genentech, where they performed in-vitro stability studies of various biological therapeutics. In 2014, they were hired as a Research Assistant at Affymetrix, performing high throughput genotyping utilizing BioMek FXp and GeneTitan workstations on various DNA types. In 2015, they joined Tecan Genomics, Inc. as an Associate Scientist, then QC Manager, and then Associate Director, QC and Product Assurance. Most recently, in 2022, they were hired as Manager, High Throughput Screening at EVERY.

Anthony Trias obtained a B.A. in Psychology from UC San Diego between 2006 and 2010, a B.S. in Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego between 2006 and 2010, and an M.S. in Biology from UC San Diego between 2010 and 2012.
