Amanda Rey has an extensive work experience that spans over several organizations. Amanda began their professional journey in 2006 as a Manager at New York Cares, where they were responsible for children and corporate programs. Amanda later joined NYC Service as a Project Manager and then became a Portfolio Manager. In 2010, they transitioned to Russell Reynolds Associates, where they worked as a Research Associate and later as a Research Consultant. Amanda then joined NBCUniversal, Inc. as part of the Executive Search Team. In 2014, they moved to Career Capital Advisory (CCA) as a Managing Director. While at CCA, they also became involved with The George Washington University, where they held various roles such as Lead of Employer Strategy + Engagement and Adjunct Faculty for Communication Strategy for Employer Engagement. Amanda'smost recent position is with The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), where they currently serve as the Senior Program Manager for Custom Client Learning Solutions and the Director of the Institute for Leadership Development & Research. Throughout their career, Amanda has held teaching positions and demonstrated expertise in leadership development, employer engagement, and research.
Amanda Rey received their BA in Political Science + Economics from Syracuse University. Amanda later pursued an MA in Organizational Learning + Leadership from The George Washington University. Amanda has also obtained certifications in Crucial Conversations from VitalSmarts and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator from CPP, Inc.
