Angelina Gordon

Angelina Gordon, MA, PMD has extensive work experience in communications and knowledge management roles. Angelina is currently the Senior Director of Communications at The Executive Leadership Council (ELC), where they lead internal and external communications strategies and drives member engagement initiatives. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Communications at Upstream USA.

Angelina has also worked at the Public Health Institute, where they served as Communications Director for the STAR Project and the Global Health Fellows Program II. In these roles, they developed communications and marketing strategies, managed budgets and staff, and oversaw the creation of targeted videos and social media content.

Before that, Angelina worked as a Knowledge Management Specialist at Insight Systems Corporation, where they collaborated with USAID to design and implement learning activities. Angelina also served as a Senior Specialist of Knowledge Management & Documentation at Save the Children US, where they developed the organization's first knowledge management strategy.

Angelina's earlier experience includes roles at FHI 360, Academy for Educational Development, Change to Win Federation, and AFL-CIO, where they gained experience in program management, research, and campaign assistance. Overall, Angelina's work experience highlights their expertise in communications, knowledge management, and organizational leadership.

Angelina Gordon holds a Master's Degree in International Development Policy from Georgetown University, and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Project Management in Development (PMD Pro) from APMG International in 2016, a Certificate of Completion in Improving Your Managerial Effectiveness from the American Management Association in 2015, and is a Knowledge Manager certified by the International Knowledge Management Institute (KM Institute) in 2010.
