Penelope Thornton Talley

Penelope Thornton Talley has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and sectors. Penelope Thornton most recently serves as SVP and Chief Experience Officer (CXO) for The Executive Leadership Council (ELC) since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer for the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia from an unknown date to September 2021. Penelope Thornton also held the role of Senior Director, Public Sector Services at Alvarez & Marsal in 2016-2017, where they specialized in crisis management and operational turnaround in non-profit and education agencies. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as the Chief Performance Officer for MSDE, responsible for strategic operational management and leadership in the agency's federal and state grant programs.
