Senior Electrical Harness Engineer at The Exploration Company

Daniel Martins has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Daniel started their career as an Intern at Rockwell Collins in 2006, where they gained experience in PCB repair and LRUs assembly. In 2007, they joined Embraer as an Electronics Technician in Aircraft Final Assembly, where they were responsible for harness assembly and integration testing. Daniel later transitioned into the role of Electrical Designer at Embraer, where they worked on schematic electrical diagrams, harness installation, and the development of test devices and infrastructure. In 2021, Daniel joined Volocopter GmbH as an Electrical Laboratory Test Designer and later took on the role of Infrastructure Engineer - Design Engineer. Here, they focused on system/test requirements analysis and designing functional diagrams. Most recently, Daniel has joined The Exploration Company as an Electrical Harness Senior Engineer where they are currently working.

Daniel Martins received their Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronic from Colégio Técnico ETEP, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Daniel is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Computational Engineering at Univesp Oficial, starting in 2020 and expected to complete in 2024. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2022.
