Azeem Azhar

Azeem Azhar is a founder of Exponential View, a platform established in April 2015 that focuses on the macro-level understanding of emerging technologies and their societal impacts. In April 2023, Azeem became the Co-Chair of the Global Futures Council on Complex Risks at the World Economic Forum and is currently an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School and a Visiting Fellow at Oxford Martin School. Since 1999, Azeem has been an investor in deep tech, climate change, and AI, having invested in over 50 tech startups. Prior to Exponential View, Azeem founded and served as CEO of PeerIndex from January 2009 to October 2014, aiding companies in identifying influential factors impacting their customers through innovative applications of machine learning and data analysis. Azeem holds a Master’s degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford, earned between 1990 and 1994.
