Alexis du Roy de Blicquy has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and industries. Alexis served as the CEO of The Family Business Network (FBN), the world's leading organization of business families, from January 2013. In this role, they led a vibrant community of more than 4,000 business families.
In addition, Alexis has held several board positions in different organizations. Alexis became a board member of Trusted Family in March 2020 and a member of the Advisory Council at Octave Institute Singapore in June 2020. Alexis is also a member of APM - Association Progrès du Management starting from January 2018.
Furthermore, Alexis has contributed their expertise to the Family Business International Foundation as a board member until January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Chairman of the Board at ToolBox vzw/asbl, a non-profit organization supporting and improving management structures of associations through professional consultancy.
Earlier in their career, Alexis held various leadership roles in companies such as Blic Invest, where they were the Managing Director from October 2004 until their departure in 2013, and Armonea, where they served as the M&A and Development Director from December 2008 until June 2012. Alexis also worked as an Investment Director at Verlinvest from December 2004 until December 2008.
Alexis started their career in 2001 as the Manager of Strategic Studies at Lhoist Group, where they stayed until May 2004.
