David Zhang

David Zhang is currently the COO at The Farmer's Dog. Prior to this, they served as President at Melissa & Doug, LLC from January 2018 to December 2020. David was also the SVP, GM at Etsy from January 2017 to December 2018, and before that they were the VP & Head of Marketing, Customer Analytics, and International at Quidsi, an Amazon company, from January 2010 to December 2016. David has also worked as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from January 2009 to December 2010, and as a Manager, Commercialization at L Brands from January 2005 to December 2007. David started their career as a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company in January 2003, and was promoted to Associate Consultant in 2005.

David Zhang has an AB in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Some direct reports include Sana Raheem - Head of Operations, John Rozanski - Head of Supply Chain, and Leonardo Ruiz-Sanchez - Head of Manufacturing Supply Chain. They are on a team with Eric Tsytsylin - Head of Brand, Kelli Durkin - VP, Customer Experience, and Rick Saporta - Head of Data Strategy & Insights.
