Julia Desantis

Julia DeSantis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and community engagement. Currently serving as the Director of Sustainability at The Farmlink Project, Julia focuses on reducing food waste and greenhouse gas emissions by keeping food within the human supply chain. Previous roles include Director of Communications and Community Engagement at Greening LA, where Julia contributed to ecological urbanism initiatives, and Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Bedroom 6, along with a consultancy role at Good2Go, facilitating food deliveries to underserved communities. Julia has also been a Nonprofit Consultant with 180 Degrees Consulting at USC and served as Chief Operating Officer at Trojan Marketing Group, leading student-run marketing efforts. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Climate Communications from the University of Southern California, complemented by minors in Social Entrepreneurship and UX with a specialization in Blockchain.
