Mihaela Nistor

Mihaela Nistor serves as the Chief Risk Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since June 2023. Previously, Mihaela held the position of Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Bloomberg LP from December 2014 to February 2023, where Mihaela designed and implemented an Enterprise Risk Management Program utilizing technology and data analytics. Prior to that, Mihaela was the Chief Risk Officer at HSBC Private Bank from October 2007 to November 2014, overseeing risk governance in the Americas and leading various risk committees. Mihaela's earlier experience includes managing compliance and operational risk at HSBC and holding roles in Citi Private Bank focused on KYC/AML compliance and relationship management. Mihaela's education includes a General Management Program from Harvard Business School, a Master of International Affairs from Columbia SIPA, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Marymount Manhattan College.
