Dharmendra Parmar

Dharmendra Parmar has over 15 years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence (BI) and data analysis. Dharmendra is currently working at The First Group as a Senior Manager - Business Intelligence. In this role, they lead strategic initiatives in BI and analytics at an enterprise level, builds dashboards for C-level executives, and develops strategies and roadmaps for Power BI adoption. Dharmendra also collects social media campaign data for performance and spend analysis, builds data models, and works with cross-functional teams. Dharmendra has been with The First Group since 2019.

Before joining The First Group, Dharmendra worked at OSN as an Information Architect. Here, they were responsible for migrating 25 TB of enterprise data from an on-premise IBM Netezza Data Warehouse to Azure's SQL Data Warehouse in the cloud. Dharmendra also performed database programming tasks, built logic for data re-processing, and conducted data quality checks. Dharmendra worked at OSN from 2018 to 2019.

Prior to OSN, Dharmendra worked at Samsung SDS as an Assistant Manager - BI from 2016 to 2018. Dharmendra also worked as a BI Consultant at YallaStay FZ LLC from 2015 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Dharmendra worked at Tech Mahindra Business Services Ltd. as a Sr. Data Analyst from 2012 to 2015. Here, they designed and developed data models, published custom dashboards and reports, and contributed to revenue generation projects.

Dharmendra also worked as a Data Analyst at Mphasis from 2010 to 2012 and as a Senior Executive - MIS at Intelenet Global Services from 2007 to 2010. Before that, Dharmendra worked as a Management Information System Executive at Standard SoftTel Solutions Pvt. Ltd from 2006 to 2007.

Throughout their career, Dharmendra has gained experience in various aspects of BI, including data migration, data modeling, dashboard development, and data analysis. Dharmendra has expertise in tools such as Power BI, SSAS, and SSRS.

Dharmendra Parmar completed a Diploma of Electronics Engineering Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cambrian College, between the years 2002 and 2005. Following that, from 2007 to 2011, Dharmendra pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University in Gangtok.
