Matthew Adamson

Matthew Adamson, CFA, is an experienced finance professional with a focus on portfolio management and investment analysis. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at The First National Bank in Sioux Falls since July 2012, Matthew oversees investment accounts totaling over $350 million, responsible for executing trades and providing recommendations. Previous roles include Investment Analyst at The First National Bank, where Matthew evaluated investment options and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements, and Chairman of the Board for the South Dakota Alpha Xi Association, managing fraternity financial activities and events. Additional experience encompasses positions such as Business Intelligence Analyst at Home Federal Bank, President of the UNL MBA Student Association, and various internships. Matthew holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of South Dakota.
