Jon Thurmond

Jon Thurmond is an experienced Human Resources professional with a diverse background in talent acquisition, labor relations, and workforce development. As the Regional Human Resources Manager at Team Fishel since December 2014, Jon has honed expertise in HR management. Jon previously hosted and produced the #HRSocialHour Half Hour Podcast, engaging with various HR practitioners to explore networking and community-building. Prior roles include Instructor at Career Prospectors, Recruiting Consultant at Titan Group, LLC, and several positions at Dominion Virginia Power, where Jon excelled in labor relations and talent acquisition. Jon holds a Contract Administration Certificate in Labor Relations from Cornell University and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Music Education from The University of Kansas and Middle Tennessee State University, respectively.
