Nathan Huntoon has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Nathan is currently working as the Co-Founder & CTO at The Fitting Room, where they are involved in building a next-gen sales channel and API integrations for a fashion ecosystem. Prior to this, Nathan was the Founder and CTO at Six Foot Plus Systems, where they held leadership roles from 2019 to 2022. Nathan also worked as a Staff System Engineer at DRS Technologies, Inc. from 2016 to 2021. Before that, Nathan served as a Principle Engineer in the Automation Group at PepsiCo - Frito Lay from 2013 to 2016, where they conceptualized and designed automated packaging solutions. Nathan started their career as an Electronics Engineer at the U.S. Navy's China Lake Naval Weapons Center from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, Nathan held the position of Director in the Innovation Gymnasium at SMU Lyle School of Engineering from 2009 to 2013, overseeing hands-on design projects for engineering students. Nathan Huntoon has a strong educational background in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Nathan obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued further studies at Southern Methodist University, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2002 to 2006. Nathan's educational journey continued at Southern Methodist University, where they subsequently completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2006 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Nathan Huntoon expanded their knowledge and skills by obtaining a certification in "Introduction to Agent Based Modeling" from the Santa Fe Institute in August 2022.
