David Filipe Barbosa

David Filipe Barbosa has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. David started their career in 2007 as an Agent at Groundforce, where they worked until 2010. In 2010, they joined Kelly Services as a Consultant in the Airport and Tourism HR sector. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Controller at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, a law firm. David then pursued an MBA at Porto Business School from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Controller de MKT at NOS SGPS. Since 2016, they have held various positions including Head of Business Planning & M&A at The Fladgate Partnership and Project Controller/Project Manager at World of Wine, where they managed budgets, applications for European Funds, and subsidised loans.

David Filipe Barbosa has a diverse education history. David completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Porto Business School from 2014 to 2015. In 2017, they obtained a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from Rumos. Additionally, they attended the Texas McCombs School of Business in 2015 for a course on Leading in a Global World. In 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Pós-Graduação degree in Control and Business Finance at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management. David earned a Licenciatura degree in Administration and Business Management from Instituto Superior de Gestão from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they attended Universidade Católica Portuguesa for a degree in Management. David completed their high school education at Colégio Nossa Senhora do Rosário from 1996 to 2002 and attended Externato das Escravas from 1986 to 1995. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including Certified ESG Analyst from EFFAS - The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (obtained in 2023), Certification in Insurance Mediation from Allianz Group (obtained in 2015), and a Certificate of Pedagogical Competences from IEFP (obtained in 2014). David has also completed a Negotiation Course from Ideias e Desafios.
