Adeel Ahmad

Adeel Ahmad has over 15 years of experience in engineering and product development. In 2005, they began their career as a Senior Engineer at Right Brain Electronics. Adeel then founded Proletarian Design in 2007, a consulting firm specializing in product invention, design and development. In 2009, Adeel moved to Context Optional as a Senior Developer, eventually becoming an Engineering Manager. In 2011, they became an Engineering Manager at Efficient Frontier, which was later acquired by Adobe. At Adobe, Adeel was an Engineering Manager for Adobe Social. In 2013, they founded Shopseen, a company that was part of 500 Startups Batch 7 and the Plug and Play Retail Accelerator. In 2015, they became an Engineering Lead at Yard Club, which was later acquired by Caterpillar. In 2017, they became an Engineering Manager at Cat Digital Labs. In 2021, they joined Lab 1908 as a Principal Engineer. Currently, Adeel is the Head Of Engineering at The Folklore Group, where they are building a new platform for B2B commerce for emerging markets.

Adeel Ahmad is currently studying for a BASc. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
