Carly Neville has a diverse work experience in the field of art direction, graphic design, and event coordination. Carly currently holds the position of Senior Art Director at The Food Group, starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at SmithGifford as a Senior Art Director from May 2019 to November 2021, with an additional role as an Art Director from June 2019 to September 2020. Before joining SmithGifford, Carly worked at GMMB as an Art Director from April 2018 to June 2019. Carly also gained experience as an Art Director and Junior Art Director at MARC USA from April 2017 to April 2018 and from January 2016 to April 2017, respectively. Carly began their career as an Event Coordinator at Fooda from March 2015 to January 2016. From 2008 to 2012, they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a major in Industrial Design.
In 2011, they briefly studied Fashion & Textile Design at NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti.
In 2013, they pursued UX and WebDev at the College of Lake County for a year.
In 2014 to 2016, Carly attended the Chicago Portfolio School, specializing in Art Direction and Advertising.
Aside from their formal education, they obtained a certification in Interactive Marketing from the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association (CIMA) in March 2013.
