Larry Williams

Larry Williams, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, IPMA-SCP, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at The Forest at Duke, starting in June 2023. Prior to this role, Larry accumulated over 30 years of experience in the US Navy, where Larry held several key positions including Chief People Officer for both the Aviation Organization and the Navy Submarine Support Organization, focusing on talent acquisition and management for military personnel. Additionally, Larry served as the Director of People Operations aboard the USS LOUISVILLE, providing strategic advisement on performance management and personnel readiness. Earlier roles included Assistant Director of Strategic Operations and Talent Management, U.S. Navy Department Leading Chief, Tactical Assistant, and Firecontrol/Network Technician. Larry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from American Military University.
