Ashley Fowler

Ashley Fowler is a Laboratory Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute since November 2020, bringing valuable experience from prior roles, including an NHS Student Placement at Sheffield Diagnostic Genetics Service where PCR primers were designed for osteogenesis imperfecta and karyotyping training was completed. Additional laboratory placements were undertaken at Queen Mary University of London and the University of Liverpool, focusing on high molecular weight DNA extraction and cancer cell line techniques. Earlier experience as a Logistics Manager at Focus Furnishing involved organizing delivery teams to meet diverse client needs. Ashley holds an MSc in Human and Molecular Genetics from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Lancaster University.
