Matteo Battilocchi

Matteo Battilocchi currently serves as the Quadrant Laboratory Operations Manager at The Francis Crick Institute, overseeing essential research facilities, including the Cryostore and Freezer Farm, while ensuring efficient collaborations across various scientific and facility teams. Previously, Matteo held multiple roles at King's College London, including Technical Manager and Senior Technical Officer within the Centre for Gene Therapy & Regenerative Medicine and Centre for Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine, respectively. Initial career experiences include roles as a laboratory technician at BioLab and various positions in animal care and technical support. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Università degli studi di Parma and a Science and Technology diploma from Liceo scientifico tecnologico “Istituto Berenini” in Fidenza.
