Thijs Rausch

Thijs Rausch has a diverse work experience. Thijs started their career as a Shared Servicedesk Medewerker at OGD ict-diensten, where they provided IT support to various global companies. During this time, they also worked part-time as a Front-end Developer for Act-E, a startup within Amsterdam UMC.

Afterwards, Thijs worked as a Systeem- en Netwerkbeheerder at AME, where they handled various IT tasks. Thijs then joined the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek as a Stagiair Procesontwikkeling & Methodologie, where they contributed to the development of new statistics based on big data sources.

Next, Thijs worked at NN Investment Partners as a Full-stack Developer, where they initially developed a web application for ranking companies based on sustainability. This role expanded to include responsibility for all data and applications related to responsible investing. Thijs also completed an internship in datavisualization at NN Investment Partners.

Thijs later joined Delft Circuits as a Full-stack Developer, where they enhanced their webshop by incorporating the option to order custom cables. Thijs also worked at Maxeda DIY Group as a Full-stack Developer, specifically in the "Extraordernary" team responsible for digital order fulfillment for their webshops.

In the future, Thijs will be joining The Future Group as a Full-stack Developer.

Thijs Rausch has a diverse educational background. Thijs started their education at Penta College CSG Jacob Van Liesveldt, where they earned their High School Diploma in Tweetalig Atheneum in 2014. During their high school years, they also obtained additional certifications, including M14 English A Language and Literature from The International Baccalaureate in August 2014 and a Certificate in Advanced English from the University of Cambridge in December 2011.

After completing high school, Thijs pursued further studies at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2014. There, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Software Science in 2015. Following this, they attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences in 2015 and earned a Propedeuse in HBO-ICT (ICT & Business) in 2016.

Thijs then enrolled at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences in 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in HBO-ICT (Business IT & Management). Thijs successfully completed this program in 2019.

Thijs continued their academic journey at the University of Amsterdam in 2019. Thijs obtained a Pre-master degree in Computer Software Engineering in 2020. Thijs then proceeded to complete their Master of Science degree in the same field of study at the University of Amsterdam, which they are expected to obtain in 2023.
