Vickie Williams

Vickie Williams has extensive experience in customer service and coordination, serving as a Customer Service Coordinator at Gainesville Sun since January 1990. In this role, Vickie supervises and assists upper management, district managers, and the public, handling inquiries related to reporting, advertising, and classifieds while collaborating with various stakeholders. Previous roles include Sales Associate at They Buyers Guide, where Vickie created and maintained advertisements, and After Hour Teller at Merchants and Southern Bank, responsible for processing deposits. Vickie's early career began as a Nursing Assistant at Lake City VA, supporting medical staff and patient recovery. Vickie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New England College and an Associate of Arts in Journalism from Santa Fe College, in addition to pursuing coursework at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications.
