Scott Olafsen

Scott Olafsen is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a focus on geospatial application development at The Gartrell Group since October 2021. Prior to this role, Scott worked as a Software Engineer and Geographic Information Systems Analyst at Salt Lake County, where responsibilities included automating geo-processing workflows using Python scripting. Scott also has a strong background in ski patrol, having served at Snowbird and Canyons Ski Resort, where notable achievements included recognition for medical first-response skills and leadership in avalanche control. Scott holds a Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp Certificate from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Geology from the University of Maine at Farmington.
