Cyra Pfennings

Cyra Pfennings is an experienced translator, author, and copyeditor with a diverse professional background in various publishing roles. Currently, Cyra Pfennings works at inotherwords.xyz as a translator, author, and copyeditor since April 2019, and also serves as a freelance translator and copyeditor for Bookouture since June 2021. Additional roles include freelance writing, copyediting, and proofreading for The Gentle Temper, and freelance translation, copyediting, and proofreading for gestalten. Previous experience includes positions as an editorial manager and project management roles at gestalten, an internship as a production editor at Springer Nature, and a press and communications internship at the internationales literaturfestival berlin. Cyra Pfennings holds a Master of Arts in English Studies from Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Culture from Maastricht University.
