Matthew Knauf

Matthew Knauf is an experienced engineer with a strong background in application engineering and product design. Currently serving as an Application Engineer at Gleason Corporation since May 2023, Matthew previously held the role of Applications and Design Engineer at Garlock Family of Companies from February 2018 to April 2023. Prior to that, Matthew worked as an Applications and Field Support Engineer at VSP Technologies between June 2014 and February 2018. Matthew began their career as a Process and Quality Engineer at Saint-Gobain, focusing on abrasive grain manufacturing, and briefly served as a Product Engineer at Parker Hannifin. Matthew holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, earned between 2008 and 2013.
